In Caribbean tradition, a batey is a central place for gathering, celebration and community. El Batey translates that spirit into a warm Milwaukee room filled with Puerto Rican flavor, conversation and culture.

Owners Carolin Rosario-Virella and Mildred Virella-Martinez created an intimate setting with wood, corrugated metal and palm-woven pava details—an unmistakable nod to the island.
